- As Mayor, Susan will ensure that information is transparent, readily available, and easily accessible by instituting real-time governing and implementing technology that delivers superior customer service to our residents.
- As Mayor, Susan will retain subject matter professionals and follow their recommendations to deliver better service for citizens, create a friendlier environment, reduce red tape, and ultimately, lower costs.
- With an ever-digitized world, Susan recognizes the need for a digital platform to access all City services. As Mayor, Susan is committed to creating the first of its kind digital platform to conduct city business. Susan will develop a new more user-friendly website that is inviting, easy to navigate, and effectively relays information for folks to access. Susan will create an online dashboard, where the administration will publish weekly metrics on our new user friendly website, allowing for residents to access data quickly and easily.
- As Mayor, Susan will retain the services of lean consultants that will advise on how to attain a high standard of service excellence by eliminating waste, streamlining processes, and motivating employees. This will reduce the costs of government services, increase customer satisfaction, and provide a means to fundamentally rethink what is done and how it is done. This will allow us to apply a more enhanced systems thinking approach, implement and sustain with smaller cost than alternative approaches, and yield returns-on-investment.
